I love it it rocks.

What sucks is that you really need a nice sound card to really enjoy it.

I am using my onboard Nvdia sound drivers with digital optical. I can hear the pc noise in it sometimes. Basically to really enjoy it I would have to buy a nice Sound card that can do Dolby encoded signal.

Pretty Good Speakers
I got this system on sale a while back. It was pretty easy to set up except for movies. I couldn’t get proper surround sound if my card processed the DD signal then sent it digitally to the speakers. I also couldn’t get many of my sound card’s nifty features to work correctly, even using a digital connection. I got it mostly working right and it sounds great, it was just a pain to figure out how to get everything somewhat working. I fear my speakers may be dead now. They just made a pop and I can’t get sound out of them. That was really strange, they work now after some fiddling.

Great PC speakers
I have been using these speakers for about two years now they sound great. The bass is very powerfull, Note AM USING IT WITH FOUR SUBWOOFERS. Roger Waters (in The Flesh) just sounds awersome

Best sounding system you can get for $100
I am an audio freak and used many different types of speakers in all different environments. Really, I cannot think of anything else that you can get for $100 that sounds (and never mind looks) this good. Now if they have a white version, they can sell it at Apple stores for 3 times as much =P.

I would just caution that it requires space to be setup properly. I know you cannot get away with 5 speakers and a sub, but I almost wish the control unit can be designed to stand up vertically.

Amazing System
Like some of the previous reviewers, I can’t believe some of the negativity coming out against these speakers. Most of it is user fault, thinking these will hook up easily to your pc or vcr and give you full fledged DD sound. If people actually spend time to read the specs of this system we would have no problems.

I just got these delivered 2 days ago and I must say WOW! They look great and have a good weight and solid feel to them. I bought them to use as pc speakers and hooked it up to my motherboard through an optical cable.

Sound is crisp, clear and very loud if you want it. I have no hint of any hiss or humming at all. This may be due to the optical connection, I haven’t tried the RCA outs yet. The sub is plenty strong, hell with the music up loud you can use the sub as a fan, that much air pumps out of it. The control disc is also quite nice and easy to navigate.

I do wish it came with a remote and a headphone jack, but I’m still giving it 5 stars due to the quality of the product and the price($99) I paid for it.

I HATE THIS CUTTER
i HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED IN AN ITEM I HAVE BOUGHT FROM AMAZON BEFORE. THE CUTTER WILL NOT MAINTAIN A STRAIGHT LINE AND WILL CUT ONLY ONE OR TWO SHEETS OF PAPER. THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS CUTTER WOULD BE THE LIGHT ON THE REVERSE SIDE. I WOULD STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS ITEM TO ANYONE!

It works great for me!
I purchased the Craft-Lite Cutter from the website, didn’t think the price was that bad, and it came in very good time. I’m a graphic designer and have been cutting out everything by hand with scissors as regular cutter never got the edges straight. I am used to working with light tables and a light underneath is the key to “seeing” what you can’t see from above. It works wonderful and I have used it for over a hundred projects (and just did ten tonight). Haven’t used the other blades yet–and that’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. I have been regularly cutting glossy photo paper with a weight of 48 lbs. and, using moderate pressure, no problems. I no longer have the callus on the top knuckle of my thumb from the scissors and, when using different borders that don’t always line up easily to the eye, this always gets it right. Am looking forward to trying the folding blade as I never seem to get the fold right on greeting cards I make. I think that many of the negative reviews come from difficulties with ordering from the company so why not see if it can be found in a catalogue you regularly deal with or even several stores (Target, Bed Bath & Beyond) that carry TV items.

research before buying
I have wanted this cutting item since I saw it advertised on TV. But since reading the reviews on Amazon, I’ve decided to keep my “old” but sturdy paper cutter. Creative Memories has a very good Custom Cutting System. Thanks, everyone!!

Great product
I love the Craft Lite Paper Trimmer. Love mine so much that I ordered 2 more for my daughter and her friend. The light makes it so much eaiser to cut just where you want to. So glad I bought this product.

Tamron all purpose 28-300 zoom
This is a good all purpose lens. The 28 - 300 mm zoom equates to approximately 42 - 450 mm on most DSLR’s. There are almost always tradeoffs in anything you buy and this is very true with lenses. This lens provides a wide zoom range, has a minimum length of 3.3″ and weighs about 1 lb. It is not very fast with a maximum aperture of F 3.5 at 28 mm and 6.3 at 300mm but when used with a Pentax K10D the automatic focus works well under most lighting conditions. I use it primarily for nature photography. It has produced good images in most situations. Although it focuses to 1.6 feet throughout the zoom range, to provide a 2.9 magnification ratio at 300 mm, the short depth of field results in disappointing close-up shots. Overall I am pleased with the Tamron AF28-300 and would recommend it to anyone that wants one lightweight lens to cover a wide zoom range.

BUYERS BEWARE
Once again, another cheap plastic lens from Tamron, including the PLASTIC LENS MOUNT! Save your money and buy the 18-250mm lens for another 100 bucks. You lose a whopping 50mm at the long end, but the optics and build are superior plus a gain on the short end.

If you don’t want to spend that much then consider the Sigma 28-300mm, unfortunatly the optics are a bit less than the Tamron 28-300mm, but the build quality is definitely superior.
