Great motivator, nice user interface, makes you want to run more!
PROS:

This little piece of technology is awesome. It really helps me, (who never has liked running) want to run. Being able to see progress, and compete against other people online is awesome. I love the power-song feature. The Nikeplus website is awesome, and allows you to: Make teams to compete, make challenges to compete with individual people, make personal goals, and even use “virtual coach” to help you organize how to train for a 5K, 10k or other distances. The nikeplus website is really the icing on the cake. If you dont have access to the internet, this definetly will not be as appealing. This system doesnt seem to affect the nano’s battery too much. It probably goes down about 5% fast, but nothing to much. The system seems to work with both my 3rd generation 4gb nano, and my sisters 2nd generation 4gb nano.

Neutral: i have not really tested the battery life of the sensor itself, since i have only had this for about a week. But the apple website says it should last 1,000 hours, altho I have my doubts. Im using a pair of Nikeplus shoes, (which i bought for 50$ at the Nike clearance store)and it seems to measure distances very well.

CONS: Since it only works with nano’s, lots of people may not buy this. I dont understand why they didnt make it work with all ipods. The nikeplus shoes are not required, but make the sensor much more accurate. Replacing the sensor (about every year from what ive calculated) will cost 19$. You dont need to replace the whole kit, just the sensor, which like i said is 19$.

Battery Life Stinks
This is my 3rd sport kit in 9 months. The battery life of the sensor does not last as long as advertised. It would be nice if there was an aftermarket brand that could be used with the ipod vs the Nike one that does not last too long. The only reason why I keep buying this sport kit is because it’s the only one that works with the ipod.

love it!
I love the freedom of the sensor. It allows me to run without first planning out a route when I want to go a specific distance or time, it tracks all the data i want (date, distance, average pace, total time), and yet adds no weight to my gear. I did have to cut a hole in the nano armband I already had to accommodate the sensor.

Its so money
This is so money…it actually keeps me motivated to want to go out and run. Probably the most innovative feature to hit the running market since the walkman.

Useless information
I have had nothing but trouble getting the nikeplus system to accurately record my pace since getting it 3 weeks ago. I initially had it under my laces (cannot wear Nike shoes!). Thought this was problem. No dice. Same issue with lacelid adaptor. Ready to throw whole system out. Fact that it reads 8:06 min/mile then 18:56 min/mile at exact same pace bizarre! I have calibrated the system twice and even linked with sensor twice. Any recommendations?

does not work
I ordered this exact item from another site. We could not put downloaded music on it, and after a few months it stopped working. VERY POOR QUALITY! Do NOT waste your money.

Not for Mac
This item is not for a Mac Computer. It is not of good quality to begin with. The instruction booklet is full of spelling errors and incomplete sentences. The dealer did return my money but only after several emails.

WORST MP3/MP4 Player DONT BUY!!!!!!!!!
I read great reviews about this product before I bought this piece of junk. Not only does it looks and feels cheap but it also comes in a very cheap beat up little box. The box cant even contain the items that are in it! Everything is wrapped in a very cheap way and just thrown there.

The product it self is horrible. Not only does the little CD that comes with not do much for the product, every single product comes with defects!

I bought 5 of these products for Christmas which one was for me. So I gave 4 to my teenage cousins for Christmas and only to come to find out that these products didn’t work well at all! I was so ashamed of my self for not only given then something that looked like I had bought from a yard sale or some cheap second hand store. But one of them would not turn on!

The one that I got for my self did turn on, but the batter is horrible. Supposedly it’s suppose to last a few hours like 6+ or so. Well mine lasts exactly a little over 1 hour and I’m not even exaggerating. I’ve even changed the settings so that it’s on dark like so there is not so much battery consumption. Well that didn’t work as it only lasts about 1 hour and 13 minutes or so after been fully charged for hours! The video sucks in this little thing. Using the program that it comes with the video is not even full screen! It’s centered and only shows the size of a dime!

The picture program is also horrible as the pictures look very bad and their also minimized on the screen as well so that does not help at all.

The music well that’s probably the only thing that actually worked well. You just drag the MP3 music to the folder and that’s all you have to do. So that does get a good rating but that’s all!

I gave one of these to my cousin for Xmas and his would not turn on. We charged it for over 3 hours hoping that it would at least turn on for a few to make sure that the screen worked. Well the screen would turn on while it was plugged in but once you unplugged the charging cable it would automatically turn off. We tried many different things on chagrining it and playing the setting and finally I had to hand over mine to him because I felt horrible on giving him something that was not working. I still have not been able to make this thing work and Cables4PC will not return my e-mails for a return!

The other 3 that I have also have a short battery lifespan. Only lasts about 1 hour the most and the pictures and videos look horrible. My sister has a Creative Zen MP3 player that compare to this crap looks like an expensive luxurious ipod instead of just a simple MP3 player.

Please if you want to give something to someone don’t buy this crap it’s worthless yes it’s cheaper than most MP3/MP4 players out there but it does not work!

Not bad at all
The price is good and it works great so I cant complain about this product at all. As for others that have complained about not being able to operate it, I honestly don’t see why? I think that it is much easier than a true Ipod!

2nd to worst MP3 player I have owned
The only reason this isnt the worst is becuase i bought the ZEN and it quit after the 3rd use, this one still works but only stays charged for an hour, at most. You spend all night charging it to get an hour out of it. plus as the person above me said, the menu is terrible. If you dont hit the next button correctly, you pause the music. its so annoying. Definately spend money and get an IPOD or something of significance.

Horrible packaging
My Webkinz came in an envelope. It was all matted up and looked terrible!!! I’ll never purchase another Webkinz from here again. It DEFINATLEY doesn’t look as pictured.

MY YORKIE IS GREAT!

My Yorkie is the best Yorkie in the world, and I strongly disagree with the reviews where the people gave it one star. (note from dad- I think, however, that it looks a little different from the picture.) This Yorkie is so fluffy that I’m surprised I’ve only played hairdresser with it once! I also approve of the Yorkie cotton candy on Webkinz World!! (she ran out of the room and hurt her foot at this point)

This is the 2nd Webkinz we’ve added to our account & once it was added more cash was added along with extra goodies. This site is very educational for children & very fun for adults also =)

The Yorkie itself isnt quite as cute as it is in the picture. It’s ‘fur’ is kinda… ratty? But looks nice after it is brushed with a barbie brush, this could have been due to shipping or something, really not sure.

My newest webkin
I just received this one for Christmas… i don’t understand why they call it a Yorkie, it looks more like a Matlese to me… but it’s still the most adorable puppy.

Webkinz is one awesome invention… and yes, they are educational, they have quizes based on each of the 4 core subjects (language, math, science, & social studies) catagorized by age groups, they teach responsibility (on a small scale) because you have to take care of them (feed, clothe, keep them healthy), it teaches about money because you have to earn & spend “kinz cash”. Not to mention how cute and fun they are.

This webkinz is very cute although kinda small. It has some pink coloring in the top part of the dog, its not all white with a pink bow. good gift.
